The Jellyfruit Vine was written soon after The Food Garden At Number Seventy Three and I guess is a spiritual successor to that book. When we moved to our property just outside Malanda we found a tree I had never heard of before, full of fruit. The tree was a Jamaican Cherry and the fruit is quite unlike anything I have tasted before. That got me thinking about some fantastical vine that maybe no one has ever heard of except the lucky few who just happen to have one…<\/p>\n
