\nDancing with butterflies, jarring hon-ey
\nIn her food garden, at number seventy three<\/p>\n

The Food Garden At Number Seventy three was my first book to be fully realised, and – I think – is the quintessential Blue Feather Book. It’s about a peaceful rainforest food garden where you can find all kinds of fantastic fruits and voracious vegetables. I wrote this poem shortly after moving to Malanda, in the Atherton Tablelands, and it evokes in me a feeling of peace and plenty that I want to share with my kids and yours.<\/p>\n
